- Thank you for respecting our policies so we can provide you with the highest quality service.
Up-Do Styling Policy
To ensure your up-do looks flawless and lasts throughout your event, please review the following guidelines before your appointment. Preparation is key!
- Trial Appointments (Highly Recommended). We strongly encourage booking a trial appointment before your special event. This allows your stylist to:
- Understand your vision and preferences
- Assess your hair type and texture
- Provide personalized prep instructions
- If you’ve had a trial, please follow your stylist’s instructions carefully for the best results.
What to Wear
Please arrive wearing a wide-neck top, button-down shirt, or zip-up jacket — anything that can be removed easily without disturbing your finished hairstyle.
Hair Prep Guidelines
Whether or not you’ve had a trial, please follow these important instructions:
- Arrive with clean, fully dried hair — we do not offer blow-drying unless pre-booked.
- Do not use a flat iron or curling iron before your appointment.
- Avoid heavy leave-in products, oils, or styling sprays.
- Use minimal conditioner, applied only to the ends if needed.
Not sure when to wash?
- If your hair gets oily quickly → Wash the day before.
- If your hair holds better when not freshly washed → Wash two days before.
- Curly Hair Clients: If you have naturally curly or textured hair, we strongly recommend a trial or consultation to ensure your hair is properly prepped for your up-do. Every curl pattern is unique and may require customized care.
Extras & Tips
- Arrive on time so we have the full appointment window to style your hair.
- Bring inspiration photos to help communicate your desired look.
- Accessories & Extensions: Please bring any clip-ins, veils, or decorative pins to both your trial and final appointment.
- Allergies or sensitivities? Let your stylist know in advance so we can accommodate you.
- Please Note: Failure to follow these prep instructions may result in:
- Additional styling time
- Style limitations
- The need to reschedule your appointment
